"Inhale" was a collaborative art event where invited artists were asked to create artwork(s), in any medium, based on the theme of air, within a vacant warehouse space above an urban winery. "Inhale" was the first in a series of exhibitions where The Ground Floor Gallery asked select artists to explore the elements of air, water, fire, and earth, respectively, in order to create site-specific work for various venues throughout the city. "Inhale" was a poetic fusion of art, music, and imagination that featured thirty (30) new art works from regional artists. Audiences paid a cover charge for the two-day/one-night experience that included sculpture, installations, painting, photography, video, mixed media, art furniture, new sounds from rising DJ stars, and collaborative performances from several actors, directors, and dancers, at intervals throughout the evening. The Riverbend Winery served its own wine label at the event, artfully created and bottled on location.
